I have an oppurtunity to pick up a big black arro! I wanted to know if i add him to my tank with a school of Payaras in the 8 to 10 inch range will the arro at 16 inches be aggressive towards the Payara! He is cool, showing some black and blue and its 250 so i want to be careful any advice would be appreciated!
 
Id be scared the outher fish would nip at him, my silvers are about 6" and dont mess with my 1" oscar and smaller fish. so idk wait till more people post before u get any ideas lmao.

I think i'd be more worried about the payara harming the aro.
 
I think it would be fine, the only way you will know though is if you try.
 
I think it'd be alright. I have my payara in a community tank and he does fine with others as long as he can't eat them. You never know though. You'd have to just try it out.
 
I think you should just pm me where you are getting him and allow me to steal him out from under ya LOL
