no i didnt pay $50. i only paid $5. I read on a couple web sites they sell for up to $50 and was wondering if it was true.

If i set up a cichlid tank to put these guys with how will the react to the large change in ph levels?

I paid 7.99 for mine, hes probably around 8 inches now. Call him runt cause i've never bought a catfish as small as i bought him. The store sold him as misc syno. Boy were they wrong, oh well happens.

Currently mines in with larger catfish and i've never had any problems. Swims mostly at night.

Does he look like this??If so these cats are great!!!True a little mean but well worth it,they get close to a foot and love raw shrimp!!!He is in the far corner on the bottom of the tank,i had to get rid of him because my Jardini took a dislike to him.
