Black Background & Black Substrate?

I did not paint my back but I should have. I like it, it will make any color of the fish really stand out. I have an undergravel so I have larger rock but I wish I could have done Black Sand.

i have the black on black...looks shibby but the only issue i found was its like owning a black car.....hard to keep clean and any waste or old sand/gravel that ends up in the tank you will see....other than that its very nice... im still deciding on what to use with my new thank......GL....
i used estees sand....

I got a black on black 45 gallon acrylic with Zebra plecos in it.. Looks pretty amazing with the gray rocks and a few plants!
