I have been painting for years and IMO spraying is the only way to go. As long as you can do it outside. It's the only way to absolutely insure an even cover with no brush or roller marks.
I think I'll have to settle with something temporary. I'd rather paint it but if I did it would have to be spray paint, seeing how the consensus is thats the best way to go. Problem is moving this tank outside. I have three lines coming out of the bottom of the tank, every time you move it you risk damaging these seals. Besides, I spent so much hard work on the plumbing, to have to do it again..............................

Krylon is the best in a spray can IMO.
