Hes in a 90 gal with 6 dats smaller than he is and 6 clown loaches. I got the lids because people have told me that they jump a lot..

That's a blue hook you got there. They have wider bars than the red hooks.

Alright thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait for the red hooks to come back and pick up one of those. For now i'm on the hunt for silver dollars that my dats won't eat. Damn petsmart $1 ones had to be so small

Are you saying the black bars are not so black? or red? their hooks are blue ...here are some of mine a few months back...they're all around 11" Their black bars are fully black and dark all the time..

How many do you keep in your 450?

i've got 5 BBars and 3 Red hooks. SD's don't do the best by themselves...you should have min 5 of them in there so they feel comfortable. By the look of the picture...he doesn't look comfortable or stable. Get a few more even some red hooks and he should colour up.
