How about Shadow Bass, Those are almost impossible to catch in Mich. Are kida Kewl and different.View attachment 296703

Last time I checked there were only 7 species of black bass, not 9 species.

Florida LMB are subspecies of LMB.

Meanmouth can meant any hybrid bass like LMB x SMB, LMB x Spotted and SMB x Spotted.

Learned about the new species.

So there's 8 species of black bass.

the meanmouth name was first given to a lab made smallmouth X largemouth then to the wild smallmouth x spotted, never heard of spotted x largemouth but im sure its out there

And Ive heard about LMB x green sunfish and LMB x bluegill hybrids but these are created in the labs, not in hatchery.
