The dude at the LFS mistook predatory behavior as aggressive behavior and I bought it on grounds that it would be aggressive so I'm going back and asking for money back in exchange for the fish
the top downs aren't helping here lol, its a profile view.Well, as long as your sure.View attachment 1229625
Heh, this was an interesting read. He is one of the few guys that can almost guarantee at least 5 pages on all his posts XD
Nah mate, not me.The guys a moron. Now, Now guys, let's not get excited - he's returning the Gar and rehoming the Pike, so that's a positive thing. He's getting a 220g for the Dovii so let's see how things go for now. He's starting to improve his fishkeeping skills and listening to us so let's not alienate him and chase him off w/ negativity. Have a little faith.
Dude, you're late to the party - we all already gave him that treatment and in my experience I have noticed he's much more receptive to proper guidance instead of people bashing him all the time. We only started seeing improvements on his behalf when I started giving him the benefit of the doubt and treating him a little better. Some people are hardheaded or stubborn or ignorant or whatever the case, and i'm sure we could pick out each others' flaws all day, but the point is we ALL have them.I think i gotta agree with Stanzzzz7.
I would have more understanding for someone who simply doesn't know better and doesn't have access to the information to better education himself.
But we a few quick google searches and a bit of reading the OP would of known everything he needed to get started keeping monsters. Its about taking responsibility for another living thing. Understanding its whole life, happiness, quality of life is in your hands. That's a HUGE amount of power and responsibility that I feel way too many humans take for granted.
With that said if the OP is willing to get rid of all fish minus the favorite and provide a proper home I am more than happy to contribute to helping him with any future problems. At some point we need to make a point as a community to stand against this sort of behavior and send a message that we don't tolerance ignorance.
