i had a juvie aro just like that he was only 25 bucks at my lfs you sure they blue black i heard that color disappears as the fish matures
 
well they are 13 inches now and only getting more blue as time goes by, so maybe the one you got was a fake. i think it depends on how you raise them more than anything
