I heard somewhere that black crickets were bad to feed you're fish, but I don't remember why. I really don't even know if this is true. Has anyone else heard this?? If it's true why??

i feed my sunfish black crickets all the time, ive heard that some crickets have worms in them, never seen any evedence of this, very healthy fish

channel cats like them.

I think i have heard something like this as well, and it is suppose to have something to do with the shell of the cricket. Apparently it is much harder then the brown ones. To be honest I don't see it being a problem, what happens in the wild?

The only concern i think is if you catch them in your yard they might have pestecids on them!:D
For the worm part i do not Know anything about!!

Yea, crickets are crickets as long as they don't have pesticides on them then you should be fine.

Is there any way of knowing wether they're ok to give your fish???
