I know its your fish, but from the look of your picture, that fish doesnt look like an Amph at all. Sorry, not trying to start anything, but I own all of the amphs except the Arrow cichlid, and they have never had a body shape like yours.

It is a nice looking fish though. Good luck in your quest.

The face is the only thing I question, post some more pics in case it's just the view. I have a amph xilo that is currently showing same colors.

X3 i was literally scrolling down to get ready to reply the same thing. The body shape and head shape are a bit off. Too tall for its length and too blunt of a nose. The second pic posted is more accurate to the look your looking for.

Sorry is a poor pic will get some other shots just posted him here at a smaller size and was told its an amph, no offense taken just throwing it out there ill get some more pics soon
