Black Diamond Max Size / Other Black Rays Max Size?

all these types of rays get huge very huge.henlei get 40"
bd and leo are the same ray so i dont even know why they are being compared i would emagine they to can reach 40" p14 are from the same area as leos are found xingu river in brazil .the food source is what made them large.i wouldnt emagine such similar rays being much different in size coming from the same food source.henlei are from a river a bit away from the xingu system.i bet all these rays in the wild get even larger than what we think.if you put a black ray in a 48" wide tank your fine.unless you get a freak like rudy lol!!!

compared to other rays potamotrygon are built different.they are brood strong built rays that get thicker than other rays and not as wide but probably more mass to them
 
and i say huge but thats not really .40" compared to freaking 12' in the sea or mekong river thats huge.
40" is huge when your tanks only 48" wide lol
 
I have a male Leo that is about 4yrs old,he's presently pushing the 15" mark,but I'm pretty sure he's still growing??
The reason I say this is because white spots are still seperating,so unless this takes place like continents seperating on Earth,but without the Earth getting any bigger...he's still growing.

I have seen multiple rays raised in same system set-ups (same species),but all growing at different rates...same water,same food,..same everything!
There are deff many factors that go into the growth & health of a ray,that aside,...some just get bigger than others.
