Black diamond substrate

Thanks I'm gonna go for it. Just got a new 210 gallon tank and its really cheap for the black diamond sand. I also think black sand with rays will look sweet. Anyone have pics with rays and black sand??

It's pretty much the same as other blasting sands. Usable, just wash really well.
You can fill your tank 1/2 way up, put the sand in, just dump it, and siphon off the top layer. If you missed anything that would fog your tank, it's there. It'll get sucked into the vac. Then fill again, and enjoy!
I personally like it because if you have any colorful or light colored fish, they really pop. Look great with DW too.
