Black "dust" in Prime?

I noticed these specks in my Prime bottle I keep in the fish room. I keep another bottle of Prime upstairs in my refrigerator and that bottle doesn't stink as bad and it also doesn't have black specks. I think I'm going to keep all my Prime in the fridge from now on.

If you keep it in your fridge, the lower temperature means it won't disperse quite as much into the air and so it won't smell quite as strongly.

I've been using Prime for over a year now and always noticed the black particles in it. I just thought it was normal.

i have noticed it before, but not in every bottle. very strange indeed, and i now also wonder what it is.

i use alot of prime......always smells like sulfur (sodium thiosulfate)


black specs sometimes yes and sometimes no.....i always figured the came from the bottom of the prime mixing tank.....undissolved particle of prime or some other precipitate that only got put in the bottle when they were near the bottom...........
