Ok everyone after I discovered that my Albino Oscar wasn’t really a Albino but a Lutino, I now think my Tiger Oscar might be another species as well! I am new to this and have been looking at a whole lot of Tiger Oscar pictures and something just ain’t adding up? But I could be totally wrong. Please any information identifying this guy would be appreciated! Thank you! By the way we love him regardless of species just curious
He would be considered a red Oscar. It's just a color morph of the tiger Oscars so technically not a different specie. Instead of forming neat lines and patterns they have their entire side just bleed out a single color. It will slowly change color as it gets older. I'll post a couple pics of the one I had to give ya a good guess of how it will probably turn out. These 2 pics are of the same fish.

Right on!!! That is one cool looking fish!! I am stoked on that! Thank you very much
Yeah I loved how he looked but he ended up being rehomed after his buddy died and he went thru a personality change. He used to dance infront of the tank wanting food but after his buddy died he sulked for a couple weeks and then turned into an unholy terror in the tank. He got stung by the pleco in the tank one day and decided to unleash his anger on it. Felt sorry for the pleco a bit but he did deserve his punishment he got. Never would've thought I would see a fish pull out a pro wrestling move and suplex the other fish. I got a pic of the pleco after his punishment if ya would like to see but I warn ya it's not pretty to say the least.
