Black Friday just ticks me off!

Got caught int NY down town shopping district on black Friday with wife and friends. Just let them go shopping, 45 minutes later I picked them up a block further down.

What I don't get is why is everyone going so crazy over stuff that's both crap and while cheaper than normal not by much.

i dont bother going shopping when there are sales here either. everyone goes mental and the shops get soooo packed. not worth it

i think the people that shop black friday every year are shopoholics that THRIVE on that sort of thing.
They are happiest in huge crowded areas spending their money.

those are the people i cant relate to at ALL. but whatever.
AS long as they leave me alone.

i will stay in my cozy house that day and they can be idiots if that makes them happy

its not the stores that are the problem. its the morons that go shopping and trample people that are the problem.
i mean seriously. Its like the mob mentalilty on black Friday. People who can get caught up in the mob mentality over bargain sales should be locked up somewhere on an island

^ yeah blaming retail stores is pretty stupid. cant blame them for trying to do what a business is SUPPOSED to do; make a profit. "black friday" and all the crap surrounding it is the fault of the people that participate every year

hmm that depends, if it was a mom-n-pop, maybe. but petsmart/petco, never! i dont see it happening though

I'd camp out in front of Sharkaquarium but I try not to go near shopping areas if I have to be out on that day.I notice that the pace of traffic gets more frenzied once it hits,everyone is constantly honking horns,cutting each other off and it goes on for the next few weeks untill Christmas is over.

LFS NEVER have sales. ok ok. Petsmart will sometimes sell water conditioner "on sale" for $0.40 less than originally priced.
