Black Ghost Knife fish

i have a pair of black ghost, the other one passed away about a month ago. I don't still have a clue what happen to my black ghost. There is one thing i observed before she died, her fins are crushed by something and cant swim freely. Maybe my stones? is it advisable to use aqua stone on black ghost's?

is it ok for the black ghosts to be alone?

yes it's okay for it to be alone, maybe your other BGK was being bullied by the other one?

What other fish do you have in that tank?

if the other BGK is bigger do they usually bully the other one? so i have to buy a same size BGK.. thanks again

BGKs are territorial. They will more likely kill each other if it's just a pair.

Knife fish are nitrite sensitive, test your water. Also what size tank do you have, how long you've had it, matenence you do on it ect. All factors concerning knifefish.

at least 3-4 pcs of bgk to stop the agression.
