Black Ghost Knife has white streaks on his body

oscar, bichir, sun catfish, spiny eel, weather loach, a goldfish, a pleco, and a small clowed frog? They are all small by the way

if all these guys are in the same tank, that could be a big issue. clawed frog, and oscar would be the first choices i guess to be bothering the knife.

aside from that, those fish need different set ups. #1 issue there being goldfish are coldwater and not warm water fish

Bad news

He died today suddenly. The frogs were in a different tank for the past week or two and my oscar is only 3 inches and never bothered him.

I went to the pet store and got a healthy BGK. I hope it won't have the same problems

Sorry that your bgk didn't make it.I hope your new bgk does ok. remember to adapt him to your water conditions if you added salt.

i am sorry i did not respond sooner..my connection has been going on and off and then i did not get back to this..it looks to me like he does not have ICK ..but that he scraped himself ..is there anything rough in the tank..is his log or what he hides in rough inside.. is he still eating.. does he act normal? i would add small amount of salt and some garlic oil to ward off infection.. i am no expert but that is what it looks like to me.. how is he today?

Also, that didnt look like ich to me but more of a scrape... being a scaleless fish it seems to happen more easily.

besides the fact that the goldfish needs to be moved out still, and how bigs your tank?

oh that is sad... i am sorry... i have many tanks which one do you mean? I hope he gives us a new pic of new guy..
