Mine went crazy frozen bloodworm. At night dangle a chunk in front of its face if he doesnt take it leave it in there an turn the lights out they will find it. Once it gets bigger should be easy get him on carnivore pellets.

Mine loves bloodworm cubes as well as hikari sinking pellets. Only comes out to feed when the lights are out rest of the time it's just in it's barrel. Still pretty shy even after 1 year

lol, hapened to my senegal bichir... eats bloodworms, algae thins, hikari sinking waffers, and freeze dried shrimp. hoping my BGK has the same appetite range
