just a heads up, your clown will get territorial and could start nipping your bgk. had to split mine apart cause of that reason. also that also happened to my needle nose gar. it was swimming vertical and at the end it just sat on the bottom and laboured breathing. could it have been some internal parasite or swim bladder issue/internal organs crushed from large pieces of food swallowed?

That's so sad. Sorry you lost him. Look on the bright side tho... you could get two to replace him!
With stuff like that I always worry. Heartless person that I am, I would probably dissect the BGK who died to see if it had parasites or something of that sort. I imagine it's too late for that now though.
Peace of mind for the other fish comes with having a UV Sterilizer running though. I'm surprised more people on MFK don't have them. I love mine.
