Thanks, the tank has only been set up for just over a month now. I cycled it with pure ammonia and bottled bacteria. Im not worried about overwelming the cycle because there was well over 8 ppm of ammonia in it when I started cycling it amd the fish probably create that much waste at the age they are now. As they grow the cycle will grow with them so i have no worries. im also need feeding as much as i could be for the first couple weeks. With the bristlenose and there being no algae in the tank, when I does grow I dont think there will be much. I also have a bunch of filter floss in the canister that is on it so thats why the water is so clear.
The current water chemistry is:
0ppm ammonia
0ppm nitrite
15-20 ppm nitrate
Ph us 6.6-6.8, im slowly adding crushed coral to get it to 7.
