i think its okay

although my friends african was eaten by a BABY wolfish

isnt a wolffish alot different than a black ghost knife?

new plan may be just to add a few more african browns, and really hope that they dont get a body fungus like the other ones did, they shouldnt.

i think like two more african browns would make the tank more lively. plus i already have enough hiding spots for them. and if they get sick again i know what to get to treat it.

I've kept mine together for awhile now and they don't bother each other at all. There both out at the same time to eat and it's quite a skeptical! They give each other room and it's all good. Funniest thing I saw was when my first night with my BGK in the tank with my African they both took turns going to the top and chirping at each other I guess.

Hi, I voted NO, but this is purely on my personal experience so I'm not saying it's either right or wrong.
Scenario;
8ft tank, 5 bgk's one of 9" and 4 of about 4". All was well and i decided to put the 4" african brown in from another tank as i was stripping it down.
Numerous amounts of hiding places but the a/brown hounded the 4 bgk's all the time chasing them out of where they were hiding and stealing the home. I don't know if it couldn't find a spot where it was happy or not but it was being a real pain and i didnt want the bgk's stress so removed it and rehomed it. It wasn't just chasing, it was physically trying to nip them :(
It might of just been an annoying one but thought i'd share the experience i had anyway. Don't let this put you off if others think it will work but just be careful and watch closely if you do try it :)
Glad you're asking instead of trying without even thinking :) Good luck :)
