Well I'm still going to try it and see if it works. You treat Butti just like you would ca/sa cichlids, same water and everything.
 
There is no point in this thread being in the Knifefish forum. The only reason to be here would be to learn & act upon what your BGK needs and will benefit from. They are too delicate to be target fish.
Regarding African and CA species, there are sections about each of those.
General Aquaria might work for the subject of pricey feeders for species of any continent. there ya go.
 
well maybe you should learn how to read and check out the original question.
 
I reposted your questions as a quote. thing is, you have 2 diff Qs. one is whether 2 BGKs can coexist, the other is, can they be housed with CAs? both issues have been addressed by members. So far you're ignoring what a bad idea it is to put (baby) BGKs in same tank with species known to grow into Highly Aggressive fish.
It is all up to you. everybody has been very polite, that may be working against you "getting it".
