Black Ghost Knife

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh okay I got rays that as well as loaches so the food will disappear quick. I got him for free but I might just sell him now. I like viewing my fish and he's always hiding lol
I tend to stay up late, so I may see the bgk (when my lfs gets it in). How big are your loaches? Like I said before, put the food somewhere that the other fish can't reach.

2-3" and rays 5" I can't they munch on it wherever it is. Driftwood the loaches eat it. One loach actually hangs out with the knife fish or at least in the same hole. I'll drop some cucumbers and see if he munches on that if not the loaches will.

Feed the other fish separately. Give them something that will distract them for a few minutes. Once they are eating, feed the bgk on the other side of the tank, unless they are eating in the middle, then you're screwed. I wouldn't mess with a ray.

I may live in Cobb.

I was out there for a few months and didn't go to any shops there just because I had no tank lol it was temporary.

Also i have a 4 foot driftwood and he literally sits inside I can barely see his tail. I can't feed him like that. Oh well I will probably either sell him or wait another month if he gets active or not.

In my case, since I have a small eel, I use a mountain dew bottle.P1040751[1].JPG
As you can see, the bottle is even Angelfish proof.

I have a three foot piece. My half banded eel found a hole in the wood and would hide with only its head poking out. Unfortunately, it jumped to its death when I had to recycle my aquarium (different story).
The slate is placed the way it is to keep the driftwood on the bottom of the tank.P1040722[1].JPG
