Mines was picky till about 8". Now he's about 12" and eats pretty much anything I put in my aquarium. He's a ferocious eater. He'll nip @ my achara catfishs during feeding time when they get to close to him. My achara's are easily double his size, far heavier, and stronger. My bgk suffers from the "small dog" syndrome. My silver arowana stays clear of him.
