Has anyone ever kept 1 of these?
I am going to be getting one and would like to know people's experience with them. If possible, I'd love to see some pictures of your black ghost knifefish. Feel free to tell me any advice you think should be good to know.
It will be about 3''.

My black ghost knife is arriving today am so excited!!! :););)

Nocturnal. Will need a hiding spot. Not too hard to feed. No super aggressive tankmates. Didn't see my old one for awhile. Would see its head pop when food comes around. Once larger it'll get bold and feed with the lights on. Always a cool fish to have.

Great to hear, I love these guys!

Mine was so personable, hand fed him a block of tubifex worms on the 2nd day, he died a week later, no idea why. I'd say keeping water pristine is very important for these guys :P

Well, long story short, my closet LFS downsized, I mean really downsized. They had a HUGE fish room before that had one room for freshwater and one room for saltwater. But the owner sold part of the building and he had to downsize tremendously. So, he decided to cut back on freshwater and mostly stocks bread and butter, and trade ins for example they have a huge wolffish in stock now ( see pic below) but that's in. I don't wanna special order anything because he went WAY up in price, he wanted $29.99 for a Marbled Angelfish.
That's why I decided to go online. I do have other pet stores too but they didn't have any.
I'm just happy to have one now. ;)
If I had to guess the wolffish is probably around $100 and the oscar around 50.
