black jack???? please help ID this fish.....

the guy calls it a black jack but ive never seen this cichlid before. he says it came from palm springs and its easily 18-20" long

patterns of the scale kinda looks like beani cichlid patterns

It looks to be AmphilophusXParachromis
I say, Barred Midas group X Managuensis

if u see it person kinda has a butterkoferi look to it

haitiensis have more of elongated body. I say its mixed with one of the barred midas family cause of the barring/bulky body then Jag for coloration and the eyes

Im not a cichlid expert but the face looks like a jack dempsey and colors cool like convict.
