When I first got my jag he was very dark, pretty much black and within a few days he looked like any other jag. I would have to agree with the above posts, it is most likely caused by stress.

Yeah it sounds like stress, it was the same as when i bought my 10inch frontosa, it was in a 18z10x10 and was very dark, he's cloured up now.
