my bgk's witt convicts, theyre actually breeding in the tank. he just goes to the other side and hes fine. hes also with a silver aro and a pbass. (i wouldnt have the cons in with the bgk, they can kill him easily if they wanted its just i cant find a home for them, man do i hate convicts)

My BGK is in with pictus,senegal,parrot,ellioti,rainbows,barbs,channa,clowns,south american puffers.All get on fine,knife has his own corner and the others treat him with respect,apart from the biggest clown which will steal food from him.
hiding places for the fish is the way forward !
ive had mine with polys, waroo, parrots, GT, pictus cats and silver dollars / redhooks with no probs whatsoever !!
i just have a couple of lenghths of guttering for them to hide in and all is fine !!!

While it's true Blood Parrots can't do any real physical damage, I'm pretty positive my 3 would do more than their share of stressing a BGK to death. I tried a tough old Plec in with them and they picked at him non-stop until I took him out. Didn't hurt him because of their deformed mouths, but wouldn't let him eat, rest or anything else. I love em' but they're ornery.
I have a 10 in BGK with a breeding pair of green severums (6 in) , 3 angels (5in) , 3 dollars (5in) and a syno cat (5in) . The female severum is bit*h when eggs are in the tank , but don't really bother the BGK - just the angels .
