Man bro I have crushed coral at the bottom of there tank and a few large rocks and my male moves them around until they hit another rock then he moves them back. I had a full tank of gravel and sand like you have but they get into the habit of stopping up the power heads and filters spitting it into the intake. I swear they are really like kids. Haitiensis def have personality.

lol ha ha yeah im second guessing the sand and will be moving back to gravel soon:) im sure itll still be escavated but at least it wont clog filters and make tank look cloudy. I am really enjoying my Haits.
 
Well after a lil thinking I've decided that I'm going to look into other projects and I'm not gonna do an odo breeding colony so I wont need two pairs;) if anyone wants to check out the thread I Just posted in marketplace feel free:)
