does he lighten up stressed Jason or is he just always dark ? Tried him in some lighter substrate ? How bout water perams, what are they @ ?

thank you Very much everyone. He is a one of a kind for now. I know there are other dark males out There. But like I said before I think most of us Just have mistaken them As females when smaller and lost them when trying to pair them With a larger known male. I know I have done by accident. Bit Maybe now this Guy has heightened our awareness and more of these guys will pop up.
Lopaka- my Ph is 7, temp is 83 I do water changes every other day or so. And When he's scared he lightens up just like a stressed female. And when in lighter substrate he'll lighten up a lil bit but he Is still very dark.
