Believe it or not, I had a female Festae, female Black Nasty, male Beani, Female Escondido, male pink fenestratum, male Grammodes, female Salvini, and male Red Jewel all in a 360 gallon tank about 2 years ago. It lasted for about a year before my black nasty and Beani bloated. It was a really fun tank located in the basement where I could never take my eyes off the tank... The black nasty was the most aggressive in the tank, and the beani would never back down from none of them, although noone would attempt to bother the Beani for some reason... I notice that the Beani would patrol one side of the tank and the black nasty would control the other side. The grammode was awesome also, he knew how to keep them off of him. The pink fenestratum was no pushover either... Bottom line, it really was the black nasty tank...
They were all between 3 to 5 inches. There red jewel and Salvini was grown at about 6" I kept the water clean with a wet dry and 50 percent water change a week... Feed them NLS. Believe it or not, all the cichlids were gorgeous, no fins missing... I wish I could have taken a video or pictures, but I didn't. The Beani bloated first, I took him out of the tank and put him in a 90 gallon tank and treated him, and not too long after that the black nasty bloated, I took him out and placed him in the same 90 gallon with a divider between them and treated for bloat, but end result I lost both of them.
