I sell them on occasion. Usually about $5 or so? You can maybe get $1-$2 a piece. Ask for a credit price or a cash price which is less given? Problem in retail unless they are specialty type store like mine but still many do not know the fish itself or can house them in smaller tanks or put them with a bunch of other fishes. It has to be a customer out looking for these types of fish.
I have beani, moto, festae etc.. in stock now but some do not move as fast as other fish & I have to feed them good & try to keep them from killing each other in the same tank. I as most can not devote a tank per fish that sell less then some.
Also to help the sale to the LFS give them a nice glossy pic of the parents so they can post what the fish will turn out to be when mature.
Selling in numbers you may move more online or a site like this.
Getting cold but Priority USPS is the cheap way to ship & if done right you can ship 4-8 fry in a small box well insulated with heat packs to most areas for less then $20.
