Of the three fish, two have paired up and became totally intolerant of the 3rd (has been removed).
The 'pair' are constantly displaying and cleaning different surfaces (spawning rituals) but have not laid eggs. My confusion is regards their colouration - appears that it may be two females that have paired?
During a water change they had their first disagreement and the less dominant fish went totally black with a white face - which appears to be typical female spawning colours? The other (more dominant fish) is slightly larger but stays a dark colour all over but never shows that white face with a black out body look.
