Black or dark FL gar

Is this a Black FL gar or Dark FL gar?

I put in the aquarium that get sun light and it's been a week

size is about 5 inc

or just Florida gar?

The body shape seems to indicate to me that it's not even a Florida gar.

The snout seems to be fairly wide in comparison to all of the picture I have viewed of you Florida gars. It looks like a young alligator gar to me, but let's let the experts tell us for sure.

I noticed that it has at least one of it's eyes, so it being melanistic is questionable considering that most true melanistic gars tend to lack eyes, so I'm not 100% sure on if it's melanistic or not.
