Hypothetical question if you had a choice between a baby black or a baby red banjar, which would you pick? Assuming money was not an issue, no tankmates, tank was big enough for both, and asians weren't illegal in the US. And no picking both.

The reason why you would get an asian of any kind would be for it's beautiful color variations. If you wanted a black one why not try and hunt down a black jardini which would cost a lot less imo. I'm gonna go with the red.

Oh my bad then, I'd still go with the Banjar because of the fact that it's an asian arowana :D. Call me racist...err fishist? Now that I think about it... I don't think black banjars even exist...

if money is not an issue, why would anyone go for a Banjar Red when you can have the Chilli or Blood Red?
When Banjar Red matures, the reddish fins will turn yellow.

This is a hypothetical question...

i dont get it, if money is not an issue then why banajr red?

Black. Only way I would even consider choosing an asian over a SA would be if it was a very nice super red (or possibly one of the variations of the golden aros, but then it would have to be extremely nice).
