black or silver?

The more I look at it the more I see silver. Face structure, barble length, gill flap, scale colors all point to silver. The fins do look dark but that could just be due to the lighting. The edges of the fins would be pink and could look washed out like they do in the pic.

I have owned many of each.

Tired of hearing people saying 100% anything like you most if you know what you're saying to begin with. Some people are full of it.
I'M SAYING... it's a black. Due to lack if drop eye, the darker coloration on top, and the dead give away being the slight coloration on the fins as well.
Silvers will typically lose that coloration once they get out of juvi stage.

Lack of drop eye doesn't mean it's a black. Some adult silver doesn't have drop eye. Darker color on top and slight color on fins are due to lack of lighting when picture was taken. Silver don't "typically lose that coloration once they get out of juvi stage."

Okay if everyone looks at this, and sees the 2nd picture. There is no chance that's a silver.
On the contrary, the 2nd and last pictures from that link have confirmed it's a silver

I agree. It's just a good looking silver. The fins are pink. Not blue or black.
