i have heard of people using the liquid rubber and latex, then when they went to sell the tank they just pealed it off

car tint on the outside. Windex cleans the residue. thats what they use in the car shops.

Latex based paint on the outside it will come off if you ever change your mind.

if you paint it you can just take a razor and scrape it off if you change your mind takes about 30min.

no. it wouldnt scratch the glass if you use a razor blade.

Just tilt the razor at an angle and scrape. Done it many times to remove Coraline algae.

you can go to the local fabric store and buy black velvet...I used to get some velcro strips and attach one side to the aquarium rim and other to the fabric...
