I heard the place where they are collected is over run by drug lords. Not worth getting killed for to collect some plecos. Plus area where they yeild is a lawless land. I had one twenty years ago from K-mart's/ they lady said "Oh that fish is $5 because he has blue eyes unlike the others". It was mixed in with a group of commmons. Wish I still had him he was very active.
