i have a black piranha and they do not do well together. i sold one of them and kept the smaller of the two. it is very tame. there is a smaller pacu in the same tank that is always kicking his butt.

pacu's gonna be big enough to swallow it whole in another 2 months...

Just bought a 3" from my local LFS... Very territorial fish.... Had been chasing my endi's around even though they r bigger than this fella...

your other fish will be food for your p soon. rhoms are fin and scale nippers and will harass other fish until there are no fins left then the target fish dies of starvation because it cant swim around to get any food.

naw, you'd be surprised at how well fish can swim without fins, they certainly can't swim AS well as they could but they can get around fairly well. the target fish dies from the psychological and physiological stress of the attacks

lol ive over many different serra species and never seen one act as a scale biter, but fins definitely.

people claim exodons are scale eaters too but ive never seen that behavior when i was shoaling 8 of them last year.
