But much much slower, imo after the first year a rbp is 6-8" and a Serrasalmus Rhom will hit around 4". Why take out the decor? He hides cuz he's comfortable and he appreciates hiding spots as in the wild! What do u feed him? When I feed mine comes out and now he associates me with food, either way beautiful fish and I like ur decor, natural looking

I feed him 1 massivore pellet a day and give him a couple live giant danios a week. He is starting to come out now when i approach the tank but hides when he sees anyone else. Guess he is starting to recognize my face lol.
I have another question for you guys. How much longer should I keep him in the 35 bow front. He is about 3.-4 inches now? Any suggestions?
