It's always a good idea to check the local and state laws before collecting anything native when you go herping. Every state is different. It also helps to avoid any unwanted paper work. ;)

well they have been released now that i know what they are.
 
dang, i thot it was bad in florida, i couldnt live in a state where u cant keep reptiles

Well, in GA, its just native herps....still a dumb law, but not as bad as some places. Basically, in GA, you can keep CA kingsnakes, boas, and pythons, but you can't keep cornsnakes. Its silly.
