Agression is up to individual fish itself. However you can train him such as spend a lot of time in front of the tank so he get us to people around him. Dimmed the light since piranha feel more comfortable with dimmed light. don't feed him everyday maybe once every other day it good. raise up the temps, high temp make piranha active and more aggressive.

What kind of temperature, mine is at 28'c

82-84ish for my past tanks. farenheight, not centegrade.

thanks. thats what 28'c is. mine isn't very skittish anyway. its the same temp i had my cichlids at, they are quite similar in requirements really ph, temp etc..

aggression is over rated. do as said above...try to make the fish feel comfortable and let his natural personality come out on its own. this sometimes takes quite a while, but it will be well worth it in the end. good luck with your fish.

Aggression is not over rated lol. My friend has 3 Red Bell Piranhas and they are whack goldfish live for days in there even baby convicts.

I always tell people if they're getting a piranha because they think they're aggressive fish with teeth, you're going to be sorely disappointed.
