Hi I have a 4 year old black rhom
I joined this site for some help about its tail fin
It looks different than any google picture
I was worried it was fin rot but it’s perfectly shaped
Any advice would be great

Looks like fin damage - has it been with any other fish before?
Generally if the damage gets down to the flesh, that area won’t grow back. That looks to be the case here. If I had to guess, this fish was kept with others in the shop and took a hit to the tail.

Thanks for reply but he been on his own for 3 years and it only gone this shape recently
It’s too perfectly shaped to be rot and it’s healthy eaten well water all good
