Black Sand vs Black Tile

Does anybody know if black tile will have the same darkening effect as black sand?

Any black tile ray owners here?

I was thinking about switching my pool filter sand to black tile.

Im really looking for black tiled aquarium pics but thank you Nic...

If I do it, I wouldnt grout the thing, just lay the tiles down to fit on the bottom of the tank.

Will any tile from Lowes work? In the thread he said any will do but I just want to make sure.

I would really like to see some black tiles in tanks. the look grew on my tremendously and I am actually considering it for my new tank
