i had black colorquartz in my geos' grow out tank and loved it. when i put them in their 150g, i used play sand to brighten the tank.... i really want to use the colorquartz again. i just don't want to have to wash it again. it makes a mess....

I've used BTMS with my geos and they didnt have any problem sifting it. The problem I had with it was it made my geos darker and their black bars stood out more. that was the reason I switched to a lighter sand, which is the same sand JK47 has. Its wonderful!! definately recommend it and it was very cheap..$10 for 100lbs!
