My dad's just had a 25,000 gallon acrylic tank put in the reception of his offices. It's been kitted out nicley with UV blue glow lights and what not, and we've been given two shark pups, a Black Tip shark pup - 2.5' and a Nurse Shark pup 2'. A family friend, gave us the sharks from his aquarium after they had begun to out-grow his 2,000 gallon tank. Whilst he had the sharks, he never tried to keep other smaller fish in the tank with them. I was looking for someone to give me some info wether it's a good idea or not? or if they'd just be eaten! The impression that I've got from the small ammount of resources available online on keeping black tips is that if fed well enough, they shouldnt need to eat other tank-mates. If any other Black Tip owners could give me info, it's be much appreciated!

Impresive. Where are the offices.

I know someone at the London Aquarium I could ask. I am no expert but I am sure its been done. You might find because they are relitivly small they probably would eat the smaller fish. A big Grouper would be cool.
