my black will occasionally nip at the oscars but its never anything life threatening. the oscars fight more amongst themselves than any of the other inhabitants do combined...

Nice. And the black stay smaller as far as I've heard maybe 15-18" Tops. so that would work out b/c he would be smaller then my other preds by at least 6-8"
You would be doing very well to get it over 15" particulally if you got it in at 11"-12" which seems to be the size these guys come in. They seem to be slow growers and suffer from the same stunting affliction that affects ATF's.
