Black Worms Taking Over

Leave them in there. They are helping keep your substrate from getting absolutely filthy and keeping it from getting compacted.

Its larger, river rock substrate. Pebble size I guess. The thank is stocked to the max as it is. Its a 125g with a red tiger motag, black belt, convict, 2 jd's, and a sal. Plus lil coreys on the bottom. They all get a long so it hasn't been problematic. I think I'm gonna send back one of the JD's, they're not too exciting.

Scato, as long as I vacuum on a weekly basis, the dead black worms won't cause ill effects and the live ones are actually helpful?

I would suggest a trio of clown loaches, very interesting, fun to watch. If the cichlids don't bother your cories then the loaches will be fine.

I have black worms in my gravel as well it's not a big deal my fish are large and don't activly sift the gravel for them so they are numerous and i have seen no effect on water quality i would not worry about it but u have been given many good suggestions on their removal i would go with the eartheaters goephages or the loaches.
