Blackbelt growth rate?

Your BB resembles my wild caught BB big time. It's pushing 15" right now.
Here's my young male at 13". Outgrew all my other Vieja's except for Syns.
When my new Blackbelt was in the tank he came from he was kicking the crap out of all the other fish. He nearly killed an Oscar that was way bigger than him.
I came home last night and my new BB was getting his axx kicked, and was all beat up looking. After keeping an eye on my tank, he was constantly being harassed by my Vieja syn that is at least 2" smaller than him and my Texas. This morning he is just staying at the top of the tank not looking to good. Hopefully my other fish will adjust to him being in the tank and leave him alone.

you could always take them out and rearrange the decor but i appreciate this cause alot of hassle
thanks. there is really not too much to rearrange though. only a good size piece of driftwood and a couple of rocks.
I personally dont think you can keep a blackbelt and a Syns male together. Too close in look and shape, they will readily hybridize I have heard. And with that - that 2 males of Syns and Blackbelt cant really co habit a tank unless longer than 7 ft. I personally have not kept the 2 species together - but good luck.
Unfortunately, and I am not happy about this, I came home from a weekend at the Jersey shore, and he was beat to death in the upper corner of my tank.
