Picked up this Trio of sp. blackberry SDs yesterday and the seller kicked in a trio of what we believe are M. Lippincottis. Any confirmation on the lippincotti, they appear more elongated than M. Maculatus which has me leaning towards Lippincotti.

Short vid of them.

WHAT??? These are sick!!! Are you serious... Blown away.
After I saw them in Canada, I did all the research possible, Wes said he could bring them in, but they were kinda pricey so he didn't. Do you mind me asking where they came from. We need many more of these sd's in the states. They are a very new hybrid from what I found out. I am truly envious.
Congrat's man, enjoy them. I really hope they start hitting the states more often and the price comes down some.

;) My understanding is that they are line bred. What research I have done says that one of the species used is widebars and red hooks and some say widebars and some other species. Couple vendors said if they were to bring them in they would have to mark them at 150-180 ea. And they dont believe they would sell at those prices. As for as where I got them I cant say out of respect to the seller. Besides we are hopefully getting more in the future. :)
Some hobbyist would frown because they arent pure but I dont, cant wait to see how they mature and if the color changes. Honestly I hope they just keep the coloring with it getting even stronger.
Thanks DD

wow, pretty cool! get to power feeding them!! wonder how big they will get???
Thanks Keepin, already on it.

Very interesting......

Are there even adult pics out there??

These are the largest I have found so far. Not sure on their exact size. They are in with Wide bars and look to be good size.

Wow, sweet. They seem to have kept there black really well. The size is def questionable from the video, but you can def tell that they are bigger. Same groups in the same tank. I hope these guys flood the states... Have fun with your three of a kind, and keep us updated.
